Olympus TG-310 Tough - in Blue

This is the latest addition to my camera kit - the mighty TG-310 Tough from Olympus! And what a camera it is! 14 megapixel, shockproof to 1.5m (5ft), waterproof to 3m (10ft) and freezeproof to -10C (14F), it's equipped for the tough jobs - and do those jobs well!

This nifty little Hino is owned by Western Tilt Tray Service, Dubbo, NSW, Australia and replaces a older FD Ranger Pro 260 ACE Air which caught fire and burnt to the ground!

Temora Aviation Museum visit 18/6/2011

I had the opportunity to visit the Temora Aviation Museum recently - what a wonderful museum and a must see if you are ever in the Temora area!

Here are just a few of the pics I took while there:

Members of the public getting up close with the Sabre - this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and one I will never forget

A fitting farewell to a wonderful day out - and to a place I will never, ever forget!

I hope to go again in November - to the 2011 Airshow just to see the Sabre in flight!

Freightliner Coronado

This is the new Freightliner Coronado, the model that replaces the no longer made Sterling range of trucks in Australia. Power choices are the all-new Detroit Diesel DD15/16 (up to 560hp) or a Cummins ISX (up to 600hp), diffs are RT46-160GP Meritor and suspension choices are AirLiner or Neway airbag.

This Coronado has a Cummins ISX High Performance EGR engine with Cummins Particulate Filter (CPF) - could not get a shot of the CPF due to it being hidden behind the RHS fuel tanks
